Mainstays 1.7L Electric Kettle with Auto Shut-Off, White

Easy to set up and understand. Just read the instructions once and after that it was no problem to set up. Pour some water and flip, five minutes later it's boiling. Much faster than a traditional kettle or pot. If you use a lot of hot water for tea or things its very useful. I kind of wish it made like a beep or some sound to let you know it was done. It just flips off silently and I was there for like 10 minutes or so the first time thinking what was taking it so long. Thing was already done and I didn't realize it.

After my coffeemaker quit working, I realized I was just using it ( or the microwave) to heat water for things like cooking oatmeal, making instant coffee, making instant mashed potatoes, or using my French press. IOW, what I really needed was a kettle. Enter the Mainstays version, in a pretty, go-with-everything white color. It works great!!! Heats up the water super FAST. It is foolproof with no fancy features, just a simple on-off switch. Works much faster than using my coffee maker did 😄. In winter, I will use it to fill my hot water bottle. Best of all is the automatic shutoff! Perfect when I get distracted ny something I have to do or something shiny off on the horizon! If you need hot water for anything, you need this cute little kettle.
