Good eating!

Good strong metal; birds to perch in the sides and eat. Larger size would be nice. Keeps bird seed etc if the ground , especially when it rains.

The size is closer to 10 1/2". The birds love it. I have 2 other feeders window %26 hanging. Almost all try to get to this feeder sitting on the ground, using a mix of sunflower hearts %26 black oil. Surprising have at least 10 cardinals (my favorite) among many varius other birds. A solid mesh type metal lets water drain. I do fill daily birds come back every day. I'll probably get another. Less expensive than A m a z o n.
