Overall, this is a great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a great bed for our kids. Putting it together came with a few frustrations, but it's similar to ikea construction, so that wasn't surprising. It's lightweight but still feels sturdy. It's soft pine, so it already has a few minor scratches (and bite marks from my toddler). The ladder is removable, which is a plus for us so we can take it off during the day to prevent my youngest from climbing to the top bunk. We have an 8" mattress, so it's too tall for an adult to sit upright comfortably, but I've slept on the bottom bed with my son and it's plenty strong. I can see this bed lasting through my kids' childhood, so for the price, I think you can't beat the value.

Turned out great! It was shockingly "easy" (as easy as you can expect for a huge complex bed) to put together. My kids are loving it! The only issue I had was two of the wood panels had pretty big scratches/dents in them.

Cottage bunks.
The beds are very sturdy. Not too difficult to put together. I bought 4 total, they are absolutely stunning. My teenage grandkids all love bringing there friends to the cottage. Now we have plenty of beds and no more mattresses and sleeping bags on the floor.
