Maybe for younger kids, but good buy!

My daughter is 7 and is completely obsessed with playing super market and with cash registers. We put it together, as a team. Very easy to assemble, she placed all the stickers to her liking. The scanner is the best part for her. We were busy for a short while playing with it. My only draw back is that I didn't notice; there wasn't an actual money drawer. It does come with paper bills and coins. Also, the screen is a sticker display, she isn't actually able to punch numbers and have accurate counting. However; she was gifted a second register that does and have what this one does not. She uses them both simultaneously! Worked out great! For the price, it's a really cute toy, really great for kids maybe a little smaller that doesn't notice the small things I did. Happy with the buy!
