solid quality. i think I've dropped my phone twice since I've put this case on, and i grabbed it up quickly in a panic, like i dropped a baby, "oh my God please be ok." and it was perfectly fine. the case really is solid. the pen kind of gets in the way of the volume button and finger print reader. so, if you're like me where you have to place your thumb or finger just right to get the reader to recognize your finger print, then the pen placement may be a little annoying to you, but otherwise it's a really good case. so you're probably wondering why i gave it one star. well, take a look at the picture. i ordered a black case. take a look at the sticker on the packaging in the picture. it's labeled "black," but I'd say that's more of a pinkish color.
