The i5 14600 A ''K'' SKU For Under 200
A more than powerful cpu, at times one can swear it is even more snappy-er than my 98x3d chip. An unlocked "k'' sku variant for overclocking. And for under $200 it is a no brainer. Note this chip is an LGA 1700 socket succeeded by the latest 1851 platform, intel's latest architecture. Though considered a budget built it greatly outperforms your latest and greatest most modern state of the art game consoles/gaming consoles/video game consoles.

Absolute monster of a cpu for its price. It is power hungry and does need a very good cooler. Pretty much any 240mm or bigger aio ought to do it. My $50 thermalright warframe keeps it under 70°f during the most intensive gaming I've used it for. Usually closer to 55°f in games though. Make sure to update your bios before use, as should be done with all 13th and 14th gen intel cpus. Probably the best bang for buck CPU in 2026 since it often goes for $200 or less. I got it for $150 brand new. Ought to last me at least 5 or 6 years, maybe up to 10 before I really need an upgrade. Great performance in every game provided you have an even somewhat decent gpu. Really just a great product overall, minus the potential degradation issue, which everyone should be aware of before buying and installing.
