The Kidde Smoke Detector's 5-inch design provides smoke detection for all living spaces such as your basement, living room, bedroom, kitchen. When smoke or fire is detected, an 85-decibel alarm will sound and a red LED light will illuminate. The Kidde Smoke Alarm is also equipped with 3 LED indicators that illuminate based on the status of smoke alarm: green = normal operations, amber = fault in operation or error, red = smoke or fire indicated. The Kidde Photoelectric Smoke Detector is powered by a 3-Volt sealed-in lithium battery that lasts the life of the alarm (included in the alarm), providing peace-of-mind smoke detection coverage during a power failure.
