Family adventures await

These kayaks are great for family adventures. They are heavy (require 2 adults to lift!) but so stable in the water. I was able to take two kids (5 and 8) out on the bay and they were jumping off and climbing back in without issue. Warning your butt will get wet due to the scupper holes, but the self draining is a huge plus! These boats are well worth the price. In the first two weeks we've had them we've been on 4 daylong trips with one adult and one or two kids plus a cooler and fishing gear or beach chairs in the boat. Bay, rivers, and lakes. All handled perfectly. Perfect starter kayaks for families. Well worth the money.

Stable Kayak, Great Exercise

This is a very stable and well-built kayak. It has a handle strap on both ends for easier handling. The seats are easily adjustable for a 1- or 2-person configuration. I have taken it several times on the South Florida Intracoastal where big boats make big waves. This kayak handled those waves with no problem, even when parallel to the waves. It is a little on the heavy side, but I load it on the car and get it to the water by myself using leverage and a beach cart. This kayak is fun to use and exceptionally good exercise.

But it's also got some cheapy plastic pieces here or there that are totally understandable for the price, but know what you're getting into - I doubt the little clips that hold the seats in will last me - but I'll just build a replacement.
