It took my hubby and I a bit to figure out the directions, (and we have put together tons of furniture!) It took both of us-one holding a piece so it could be screwed together by the other. But it's well made, strong and serves our needs. We are using it in the garage to store our shoes and to sit to put them on/take them off. Would buy again.

Overall I am very happy with this storage bench. Installation was pretty simple except when it came time to install the hinges to the top. I managed to get it done, but it sure would have been easier if I had an extra set of hands. Or there would have a pre-drilled holes to show exactly where the hinges needed to go.
