ProsourceFit Acupressure Mat and Pillow Set for Back/Neck Pain Relief and Muscle Relaxation

Bought this for my elderly mother suffering from back spasms and lower back pain. She is so used to it now and sleeps on it every night. I noticed improvement in mood and mobility and overall well being. I use the pillow for my feet, great relief after a work day and foot soak, getting some getting used to.

I was afraid this would be just another wild goose chase in my quest for an easing of hip and back pain. The spikes on this are sharp, but they work wonderfully! I tried it the first night I got it, using light material over skin. 10 minutes. I didn't use the neck support, just the flat on my back. Put it on the bed and rolled onto it. It covers shoulder to lower back. I may get the larger one to go a ways down my legs, though this seemed to actually be enough coverage. I've had severe, debilitating pain in my lower back, hip and shooting down my leg for months, plus just muscle tightness when I try to walk 100 feet before the severe pain started. Lately I've been up in the night multiple times, barely able to get 6 feet to the bathroom...need to hold onto something and it takes forever with shooting pain as I shuffle my feet, unable to lift them. Been to PT and doctors. They want injections, and maybe surgery for multiple problems in my lower spine. I wanted to exhaust all other options first. Going to an osteopath and craniosacral therapist, taking on rotations: aspirin, Tylenol, ibuprofen, prednisone. Ok. All that to say: Night one with 10 min of using the pad only, and I got up once shortly after going to bed. Didn't writhe in pain, didn't groan. WALKED to the bathroom and back. Then slept 7 hours straight and got up in the morning without pain...I cried, but for joy! I used it again last night. SAME results. I just used it on bare skin this morning for a little over 10 minutes in my recliner, which I haven't been able to use due to the pain. Yes, for maybe a minute I thought I'd not be able to take the sharpness of the spikes...and then I could actually feel pulsing in my back. The needed blood flow to my muscles was incredible. And I feel so good. I am just a 74 year old woman who was afraid that this was just going to be how I spent my days now...limping along, grunting and groaning...and crying in pain. But two days have been wonderful. I didn't think I'd see good days again. I must add that I've had lots of prayers for my healing just prior to finding this mat and using it....This may not work for you. But I hope and pray this will be the answer to YOUR prayers, too!
