Key item features

  • Elegant Design: This SAFAVIEH Kentigern Border Seagrass Area Rug features a sophisticated Marble/Beige color scheme, offering a stylish addition suitable for any room.
  • Generous Dimensions: Measuring 5' x 8', this power-loomed rug from China has a pile height of 0.3 inches, making it a substantial floor covering.
  • Natural Composition: Crafted from 100% seagrass, this rug is part of the Natural Fiber Collection, known for its soft, textural, and sustainably-harvested materials.
  • Care Guidelines: Regular vacuuming (without beater bars) and spot cleaning are recommended, with professional cleaning for tough stains; rotating the rug every 3-6 months helps prevent uneven wear.
  • Placement Advice: A rug pad (sold separately) is recommended due to the latex backing to prevent shifting, and rug protectors should be used under heavy furniture to avoid flattening.
  • Sunlight Caution: To preserve color integrity, avoid direct sunlight exposure, as it can cause fading over time; position the rug away from direct sunlight whenever possible.

Great neutral rug. Warms up hardwood floors and goes well with my mix of Asian antiques and more modern furniture too.

Just like pictures

Ended up returning just due To size of rug in my space. Does shed a little but would likely improve over time. Great color and thickness.
