I am very pleased with this skillet. It is a nice deep pan and perfect for making family sized dinners in. I am going to see if it comes in a smaller version for one or two person meals. It is a good depth to fry in so it doesn't splatter much at all.

it works perfectly without oil or butter. eggs cook perfectly, it does this thing where once it's done enough it sort of starts the egg lifting at the edges, and then you can slide or scoop them up without any residue left in the pan. you can use oil, butter, or grease if you want to (I do it for flavor) but gotta keep the heat at low to medium because it will burn quickly! the pan is very generously sized and can go in the oven up to 400 degrees. super easy to clean up, just let it cool, drain any excess liquid and wipe out the food/juices/sauce with a good paper towel. I wash it with Dawn soap and just my hands cuz I never need to scrub anything stuck on. have used it every day, several times a day since I got it in early summer this year. have always preferred cast iron to cook in and this pan is giving me amnesia as I forget all about my heavy and needy cast iron skillet and braiser. those things require meticulous care and maintenance, and while this Gotham Steel pan does sometimes require attention to the burner level on the stove, all cleanup and maintenance is quick and light work.
