I must mention it has also inadvertently been the cause of me hurting my neck, too, because I moved and slept on the pillow and mattress. I do this sometimes. Otherwise, the pillow itself is doing wonders if only I stay in place. Consider, this factor for yourself if you move around a lot, too. I like the cool surface. The pillow case is a little bit piled already after a few washings. Its worth a try!
