Our trash bins are very large and not easy to use for someone my height, so I bought this to use for recycle items, I should have purchased two and I'm going to purchase another one for the garbage as well. I like that the lid will stay up while I put things in and makes it very convenient to put things into the bag and keep the recycle/trash receptacles clean.

I am a hygienic person and with caring for a senior it becomes evident that typical baskets are unhygienic with accidents. So searching for some medium sized containment that could take bag changing. To my surprise cheap unthought out item were ridiculous in cost. So I began trying to find a 13 gallon bin that my father with one leg could easily use and Not have in the way. I saw it while shopping for camping gear but it was just what was needed. Lightweight, pretty sound and sturdy, not too heavy, separate Hinged rim to hold bag but easy to open and thankfully a lid with a flush seal to Rim. Sized perfect for a Small bath to place near.
