The audio and video have begun to get a second out of sync: It either corrects itself after a few minutes or I open the lid (or hatch) and close it so that it resumes normally. Other than that I like the remote control and the earphone port. It is also compact enough to store it on a shelf when I am not using it.

Whether you have kids and travel often, or if you are just someone who wants to expand your physical media collection but is hesitant to commit to a full DVD player: this is a perfect, budget friendly option. The set up is incredibly simple and the player accepts a wide variety of DVDs (excluding Blu-ray and 4k), USB files, and more. The sound quality with headphones is surprisingly loud, so proceed with caution, but is crystal clear just like the picture is for both newer and older films and shows. I cannot rate properly for how it works in a car yet, but at home it runs perfectly and has a decent battery life without being plugged into an outlet. It has a decent swivel neck that turns in both directions to help with glare depending on if you are maybe on the road or resting in bed. I recommend buying some earphones and a carrying case with this product, but you receive everything you need standard wise in the package (portable DVD player, cables, chargers, a remote, and instruction manual). Overall, great value for a portable DVD player that can double as a standard DVD player. I highly recommend buying this if you are considering getting a portable DVD player.
