Solid bass combo for price

Thoughts as an absolute beginner, required a little setup out of the box, mainly truss rod adjustments. Amp performs as well as you would expect for this price, but good enough for a practice rig. gig bag is pretty cheap but comes stocked with a strap, instrument cable and pick. bass sounds solid and has tone options, holds tuning fairly well but susceptible to slipping very slightly out of tune. TL;DR a solid bass combo as is, but unmatched in price. only recommendations are -new strings -reputable instrument cable -strap(locks as well) -3.5mm-1/4in jack adapter -tuner

Not being too familiar with the quality of guitars, I can say that this bass guitar exceeded my expectations. Directions were limited to operation of the amplifier, nothing about the guitar. A short primer for the guitar would have been nice. But hey, what do you want for a hundred bucks. I'm more than satisfied.
