Incredible value for the price

This is my first time buying a Glarry guitar. Many friends have said they would never buy a Squier, let alone an $100 Glarry, but I think this bass offers a lot for the price and would certainly be more than good enough for beginner or even intermediate bassists. The pick-ups seem fine, and I've been told it'd be more worth investing in a fancy amp than replacing them (though I will probably do so). There are a number of easy things you can do to make this perform more like a $1,000 bass. I've heard a lot of people say that making it more playable by polishing the frets and sanding their edges, which are a tiny bit sharp, as well as sanding the neck and rounding over the edges of the fret board will go a long way to make it better (I plan to do this, too). The tuning pegs seem solid enough. The included cable seems low-quality. Anyway, if you're guitarist who would like to have a bass to fool around and write with, this seems like an excellent choice. I'm thinking it'll be a great way to start working on guitars myself.
