A good coffee machine for the ones who like nespre

I like the Nespresso Vertuo Next Limited Edition Bundle as a machine. It's not too noisy, the size is perfect, and the design looks really beautiful in the kitchen without taking up too much space. The performance is very good, it makes a great crema, and overall it's easy to use. My main issue is more about the coffee itself. I'm becoming less of a fan of Nespresso because you're basically forced to buy only Nespresso capsules. Sometimes Starbucks makes Nespresso-compatible vertuo capsules, but other than that, you always have to buy Nespresso, and the cost for each capsule adds up quickly. The coffee is also quite strong, and I can't drink more than two cups a day without getting a headache. With bean-to-cup machines, I can enjoy two to three cups a day easily. So overall, the machine is great, but the Nespresso coffee and pricing could definitely be improved.

Compact, convenient, great tasting pods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using disposable cup coffee on and off for years. I like them because I have friends that only drink decaf, and being able to swap between the two without changing a coffee hopper is hugely convenient. It also gives me permission to indulge in and try vastly more bean types and flavors. I tried a competitor brand and the coffee came out watery tasting. Not so for Nespresso. You get nice strong shots of coffee with this. I prefer to adjust my own milk and water amount. I've been using this unit for over a month, and haven't had an of the issues the other reviews talk about. The unit turns on quickly, brews fast, automatically dispenses the previous unit, and was overall easy to use. All I have to do is adjust the height of the cup holder, and refill the water bin as needed. Lid opens smoothly and I like how compact the system is (my countertop is already cluttered enough!) One note - the Vertuo using "barcode technology" to figure out the right brew settings in terms of seeping time and water flow. Good for me as it's one less thing to think about, but worth noting if you like to adjust your settings. Overall, a happy addition to my kitchen.
