I purchased this for a gift and it was a huge hit! I personally thought the surface space was a little smaller than I had imagened, but I think when the outer "troughs" are filled with crackers etc, that won't be the case. I (and the recipient) absolutely love the hidded drawer with the cheese tools. Nice thick, smooth wood, very pretty!

It's a bargain
The cutting board is solid, heavy and looks expensive. Bought it for my 19 yr old son who asked for an overpriced gift set containing summer sausage packs, cheeses, and crackers that are for sale during the holiday. To save money I decided to buy them individually at Walmart and arranged them (unopened of course) on the cutting board then used clear plastic wrap around it to keep everything in place. Great gift he's going to love
