Great accessory for my canopy

To be quite honest, I bought this canopy tent with some reservations. Although I have been quite happy with other Ozark Trail tents, there was something about this that had me a little worried, but to make a long story short I'm VERY HAPPY with my purchase. I bought it about 2 weeks ago and used it for the first time this passed weekend for a camping trip to the beach. I was surprised on the sturdiness and the quality of the fabric! Set up was easy and works perfectly with my push up canopy (also from Ozark Trail) since there's an opening for the open/close rod. The sturdiness was tested since we had high winds and I must say that it was great, I'm very impressed. Alert! although it says that will sleep 6, I Think 3 will be more like it if using air mattress like we do unless all 6 people sleep in sleeping bags (as noted in the description) Also, it was pretty chilly (well for Florida), temps were down to low 40's next to the beach but it felt a little warmer inside the tent. I definitely recommend this connect tent and I also recommend to watch the instructional video and follow the instructions attached in the bag prior to setting camp. Very spacious and perfect for glamping! Happy camping ya'll!

Great tent, must buy the canopy with it!

You have to buy the the canopy for the tent! The canopy holds the tent up! I know this is not explained well but it does not take an Einstein to figure it out! And yes I agree it all should be sold together. If you only but the tent then its worthless cause there is no poles to hold it up, that’s what the canopy of for.

One you can stand up in

I like camping and what I want more than tent size is one I don't need to crawl into (or directly out to the dirt outside). Most 4 person tents and smaller may talk of 5 foot max height, but it's only in the center with your bed covering that space 99% of the time. Since I often have a canopy up anyway over the tent, seeing this made me go "Why hasn't someone come up with this before?" You can walk around the edges inside this (unlike dome tents edges) to allow more choices for walking or placing things. I've seen other reviews suggesting poor fabrics or water-proofing, yet I think I can add a canopy side wall to deflect water if needed. Another note, in some weather conditions I've had condensation inside the tents that some call a "leak", but it's not (and that will happen with all tents or canopies in the same conditions). I've also seen comments about "it shows the canopy, but isn't sent with one (forcing you to buy more things)". If you add the canopy price in with this, it's close to the same as other family tents with similar size areas, so it's not that big a price difference. I need to use it a few more times (and try it with more than one brand of canopy), but I like the concept a lot.
