Great, affordable vacuum!
We mainly have hardwood floors and a few low profile area rugs to vacuum. Initially we spent 4x the amount of this item on a different, popular brand that worked very poorly! It went back. Growing up we had Hoover so I took a chance and went with this unit. I was so disappointed with the other brand that I was no going to spend as much this time around. This unit is a great price plus had HEPA filters but the reviews were mixed - I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did because it's working fantastically!! I'm embarrassed to say I had to empty the canister several times from all the dirt it was picking up from right out the box. I haven't had this long enough to comment on the lifespan however I can say it does a great job of picking up dust, particles, bits, pet hair, etc. Love, love the retractable cord!! I'm very pleased and my have found my brand for any future purchases or recommendations to friends and/or family. Way to go Hoover!

The Auto Rewind is a great feature. This is my second WindTunnel. The first one was six years old. Still working fine. My daughter was happy to have it second-hand when I ordered the new one. The new design refinements are a significant improvement over the old model.

Eliminates pet hair!!!
I bought this vacuum with no previous "bagless" experience, and I'm in love! I've got 3 indoor pets (shedding maniacs) and keeping up with them has all but exhausted me. I can not tell you how shocked I was to see how well this vacuum worked. The suction is amazing, love the auto retract cord, tools are perfect for what I need, weight is good, and cleaning the canister was very easy. I hear reviews about bagless vacuums being such a mess to clean, but folks lets get real - take it out in the garage or back patio to release the canister in the trash and you have no problems. I also really like that the filter is washable. I give this machine 2 thumbs up!
