Great looking sturdy bed.
Very nice looking bed. Quick shipping. Great customer service from Atlantic Furniture. Easy to put together. Had a small scratch in the headboard and a slight production issue with one of the side rails, contacted Atlantic and they swiftly sent out a new side rail and paint touch up kit. The bed did not come with a full set of slats, which I didn't know. Contacted Atlantic and they said It is what they call a traditional bed, and therefor ships with just 6 slats. Should be used with a platform base. I have slats from a previous bed that I can use, so not a big issue. It's a real wood bed, made in the USA by a super responsive company. I was impressed. Good value too.

Has the features I want at a decent price
I've been shopping for a new mattress and I needed to start with a platform bed. This bed has a nice Mission style design, substantial slats, and can accept four large underbed storage drawers. It was easy to assemble, provides solid support, and the drawers slide smoothly in and out on wheels (they're not attached to the bed). The walnut finish is decent, although it's a bit darker than I would like, and I'm not sure how durable (minor quibbles). This bed (and probably any platform bed) also extended the useful life of my mattress by making it a tangibly firmer.
