No more accidental spills.

I'm sure there's a lot of you out there that regardless of how careful you are, still end up with a few bleach spots on your clothes. These Clorox bleach packs won't do that, they will not release any chlorine until they dissolve in water. These Clorox bleach packs contain ingredients that are less corrosive to plastics and rubber and will not corrode stainless steel, unlike their liquid counterparts. Make sure your hands are dry before handling and that you reseal the container, especially if you live where there's high humidity. You can put these packs in your HE washing machine or your standard machine and then throw your bleachable fabrics in and your clothes will be just fine, even if you have to set the timer to start in 6 hours. In the HE machines you're supposed to add the packs directly to the drums and not the dispenser trays. One problem I have, is, my washing machine is a front loader and the directions say, for best results add them to the drum 5 minutes after the start of the wash cycle. I have better things to do then wait around to do that, besides once the door goes into lock mode it's a pain trying to open it in the middle of a cycle. So I add them first, before the clothes and so far I'm happy, except for the price. The liquid bleach cost about $4.00 for 15 loads where the packs are $4.00 for 12 loads, so is the convenience worth it?

CLOROX DOES A GREAT JOB!

I couldn't pass up the chance to try Clorox's Solid Bleach Packs and what better way to see if they work than to conduct a couple of tests at home. Test #1 - Laundry. I decided to try one pack on our whites - some washcloths and bath towels - by running them through a normal wash and rinse cycle. Followed directions for a small load. Filled up our washer with hot water and added our regular laundry detergent. Instructions said to wait 5 minutes after starting the machine before putting in a single bleach pack. From the washer into the dryer and when the towels came out, they were soft and fluffy and the whites were back to being white again - photo included! Test #2 - The Toilet. Not to be indelicate, but I wanted to see if the bleach pack would dissolve and work it's magic here as well. Flushed once, then as the water was filling up the bowl, dropped a pack in and used the brush to stir. It began to dissolve right away. I swished the Clorox around the bowl and scrubbed under the rim. I then let it "sit" (about 15 minutes) and flushed again. Perfect. Another success to report! The results are in. The Clorox Solid Bleach Packs are a keeper. No need to measure, water-activated, no splashing liquid and, best of all, they are very convenient to use. They have my seal of approval!!

Pre-measured Pack Puts The "Wow" In Cleaning

The Clorox Control Regular Scent Water-Activated Solid Bleach Packs put the "wow" into cleaning. They are easy to use, particularly if you follow the directions on the back of the container (which all users should be sure to do). The packs clean a wide range of items in the house (sinks, toilets, floors, and laundry). I used the packs in my toilet and sink. Unfortunately, I initially put the pack in the toilet and flushed right away (directions, again, should be followed). What I should have done is placed the pack in the full water of the toilet and let the pack dissolve (as it is made to dissolve in water). As the pack dissolves, little bubbles are released into the water. For the sink, I followed directions and put the pack in a full sink of water. When it was dissolved, I wiped the sink. It was sparkling. The bleach packs allow a contained, measured amount of bleach to be used rather than spraying cleaner on toilets and sinks which could get on clothes or measuring out bleach while doing laundry which could get on clothes as well. The ease of use is a "wow" factor. They are currently priced at $3.96 at Walmart.
