Mainstays Macrame Tailored Curtain Valance, 50"L x 18"W, Black

I was very excited when I found these valances. We had just redone our kitchen and needed something for the window over our sink. I found these and ordered one for over the sink and one for our back door. I put the valance over the sink and was unsure if I liked it for a week. I decided to put both valances on the same window and it made it look much much better. Love it. It looks exactly like the picture.

I bought two of these valances, one in black and one in ivory. I have a recessed window in my living that is about 36" wide and about 39" deep back to the window. I layered the two valances at the front of the recess from the top and hung a pair of sheer black panels all the way back against the window. I did not want anything to heavy or dark in that recess and I liked that I was able to find the colors I was looking for in sheers and that they were a bit longer then most valances. The macrame detail along the bottom gives it a subtle but, unique look. I have the same style recessed window in my bedroom and I may buy another set for in there. I do like these valances and I am happy with the quality and the look they have added to my room.
