Great swim cap, but the copper color ink smells

Awful smell Right out of the package and persists despite washing. I ordered this color once years ago and it smelled So I threw it out after several times of trying to clean it. I saw it again recently and, because I like the color, I tried it again. It smells exactly the same as the first one I got years ago. Absolutely horrible. I have tried rinsing it, even swishing it in the chlorinated pool… Letting it air out… Scrubbing it with soapy bubbles… There's nothing I can do to get this hideous odor out. I would not recommend getting this color. However, I do recommend the sporti silicon swim caps in this style. They are fantastic!
