Excellent Value

I'm very pleased with this guitar. The neck feels great the pickups are not the real jazzmaster ones, but they cost twice what this guitar does, and they do give you that jazzmaster quackey sound. The build quality is good, it does have a 2 pice body you can see in the photo.

WOW!

This was my 2nd Indio purchase and I was blown away by this guitar right out of the box. Set-up and intonation were near perfect. I just tuned it up and it was ready to go. Action was low, frets smooth like butter. Never mind the low price, this is one of the best guitars I've bought, period! I also bought the Cali DLX strat. The OS40 set-up and sound is way better in comparison. I got a winner with this one.

Savvy guitarists are buying clones.

Klon Centaur overdrive pedals now sell for $3,000 or more. Savvy guitarists are selling their Klons and buying $40-$200 overdrive pedals that sound pretty close. The Indio by Monoprice Offset OS40 DLX Plus Alder Electric Guitar with Gig bag is $199! Get one. After you play it for a while you may also become savvy and realize that new, similar style, brand name guitars may be overpriced. Whether you play in a dim lit room or in the spotlight on stage, this axe looks, plays, and sounds great! No guitar is perfect, but the Offset OS40 DLX Plus I received is pretty close. At $199, delivered?what the heck are you waiting for !
