[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dremel products are so handy for restoration projects. There may be cheaper imitations, but the old adage is true – you get what you pay for. Other products never measure up to Dremel quality. I am in the process of restoring a metal Hubley airplane toy from the 1960's. Removing rust and old paint are necessary before applying a new coat of paint. The hard-to-reach areas are no problem for the 448 Stainless steel brush set. Given the fact that the toy is sixty years old, one needs to be gentle with the metal parts and the 448 set handles the job with expertise. The Hubley P-40 will look brand new when finished.

The unsightly marks came off with ease and it appears that I'll be able to get a few more uses of the brush set. They didn't wear down much, most likely due to the surface that it was being used on. The knife surfaces were smooth. On a rough surface the wear of the brushes may have been more pronounced. I like these brushes and they will definitely be used again.
