Beautiful but not practical for us
This is a beautiful quilt... I wish I could love it, but it is just too hot and heavy. I get very hot at night and was looking for something light and comfortable but this is not it. Even my husband who likes warm covers said it was too warm and weighty for him. The fill material is not 100% cotton which I was looking for. It is 70% cotton and 30% polyester. The outside material is not nearly as soft as the description, even after washing, but is rather stiff. Be aware that they weren't kidding .. it IS oversized. While I love how wide it is and there would be no fighting over the covers, it is WAY too long. You either have to have it folded over at the head of the bed or it is hanging bunched on the floor. Love the colors and design but not the feel.
