I love this tent!!!

I had bought an Ozark tent, WalMart's store brand right before buying this Coleman tent. I returned the Ozark because it was so cheaply built. I must say I was impressed with this Coleman tent. It seemed difficult to set up at first. That is because I did it by myself in 30 mph gusting winds. But, I did it! And, I'm no tent guru. Once I figured it out, I was VERY surprised at how solid it remained in the wind. This tent is really well designed. The seams, the stitching, the zippers, the door, the windows, the rain fly, the guy lines, the main parts that get staked down, the closet, all are really well designed. I put this up in my back yard for my son and I to enjoy. We LOVED it. We remarked repeatedly how much we appreciated all of the features especially compared to the Ozark tent. So, I rarely give reviews but felt compelled in this instance.

Great tent!

I have seen this tent at different parks over the years and always liked the cabin style, ive always had a dome style tent. I camp alone (well with ny two dogs), my husband doesnt do “tent camping” so its usually with the dogs and girls. I finally broke down and bought this tent. 1st time setting it up, i was a little disappointed with my choice due to the fact it took me 1/2 hour to set up alone! I disassembled it in less time. A week later i took it out and set up again on my on and got it down to 15 minutes alone. I LOVE this tent! I did spray all the seams with water repellent, and spray the rain fly. The tent is roomy, i went from a 6 person to an 8 person tent. It feels huge! My first adventure is next week, i cant wait!

Great Tent

Easy to set up and tear down for a big tent. I especially like the door and being able to stand up. I did notice the flatness of the rain cover caused a really high pitched, loud sound when it rained, but I think any stand-up tent with that much space would make the same noise. I was able to fit 3 large dog crates, camping stuff, and my husband and myself with plenty of room for my daughter and her friend if they had decided to stay with us and didn't want their "own" tent!
