excellent tent for a family of 4!

we as a family really enjoyed this big tent. I am 5'9" and I can easily stand up in the front section of the tent. we loved the "separate bedrooms" of the tent. setup was easy, I did it myself but with help it would have been easier. the awning was useless however (unless I did it wrong, I am blonde after all :-D). I couldn't get the awning to stay up and even when I sort of got it up, it was windy and it created an almost parachute. besides that it was an excellent tent for our camping trip and would definitely recommend! great price too, I paid $149 tax. camped in September, the low temperatures were 32°F and we were fine with the sleeping gear we had.

The perfect tent!!

We tested this tent out in our backyard before we took it camping just to get an idea of what we were dealing with. just so happened to come a flood that same night. Not only did we stay 100% dry, we slept like rocks with the sound of the rain hitting the "roof". It held up just as well on our trip with more rain and some gusty winds. The only complaint we had is that it doesn't filter out light well at all. So beware, if you're not early risers and like to sleep in past sunrise, this tent isn't great for that, lol. We used the little third room as a bathroom/storage area. That back room is actually large enough for a queen-size mattress to fit in and still be zipped up. There's SO MUCH SPACE in this tent. My husband, who is 6'4, can stand straight up and walk around, too! If you're looking for a great tent with lots of space, buy this tent! You won't regret it!

This is a great tent. It's a lot larger than I thought it would be. Set up was way faster allowing more time with the family and less aggravation like those other brands caused. This is my tent and it's a badge of honor in the camping world. In fact I'm buying another one today for a family member.
