Giving a 4 star because just bought and haven't been 'school tested', but appear to be good value. The size fit well using the general size our growing 12 year old takes. It's very hard at this age because he is in between youth and adult sizes on many items. He's not fat or chubby, but is a big build and right at 5'9". He hasn't worn the pants for school yet but they seem sturdy enough. I now buy uniform clothes to last the year...so 'sturdy' no longer means what it did when I needed multi-student, multi-years out of uniform pants. The other nice thing, at a larger size, is these have the expandable waist.
