Makes cleanup a breeze

The first thing I will say is that it's strange that something made for a round or oval slow cooker has square corners like a regular plastic bag. When I put the liner in the slow cooker there was a wadded up section of material in one spot. I guess this is not only from using a rectangular liner (bag) in a round slow cooker, but that they're designed to be used in 3.5 to 6 quart slow cookers. I made Beef BBQ using 5 pounds of hamburg into which I had to mix chili sauce, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, mustard, sugar and pepper. This involved 'vigorous' stirring to get it mixed through all the hamburg. I caught the bunched up section of liner several times. When I removed the food filled liner to store the Beef BBQ, I found a light coat of grease on the bottom and side of the bowl. There was a pencil sized hole where the liner was bunched up and a 1/2 inch hole on another side where I had stirred 'too' vigorously. In spite of the two holes, cleanup was about 95% easier than the last time when I had no liner. I made spaghetti and put it in the slow cooker set on WARM using a liner. When the meal was done and the liner with leftover spaghetti was removed there were no holes in the liner. All I had to do was wait for the slow cooker to cool and wash the lid. There is an instruction paper in with the liners and one of the 'instructions' should be a 'warning'. It says that the slow cooker should be 1/2 to 3/4 full. I intended to make slow cooker pizza, which uses a canned refrigerated pizza crust plus sauce and cheese cooked for 2 1/2 hours on high. The pizza crust would have only gone a couple inches up the sides, so I asked a neighbor before trying it. She tried something similar and now has 2 slow cookers, but only one bowl. It melted the liner stuck to the bowl. She had to scrape it out, but she said it still smelled of melted plastic when she used it.

Can't live without them

My wife has been using them since they came out. If you cook with a slow cooker/crock pot you know the mess it leaves and stains not with this item. When I told my wife they might do away she went to Walmart and bought 10 boxes. There are cheaper ones that leak and do not work as well. This will not leak. Open box remove liner put in crock pot/slow cooker cook and then pull out bag,so easy no Fuss or mess. Will always buy them as long as they continue to make or sell them. Box is easy to open and close after you are done grabbing 1. Can not be reused.

BEST INVENTION EVER

I use these religiously... BEST INVENTION EVER!!!!!! THANKS REYNOLDS. I refuse to use my crock pot without these. Whoever invented this is a saint. Keeps the pot clean and dry and the plastic doesn't melt, even if the pot is on high. Easy cleanup, no more scrubbing. I keep these permanently in stock. Cleaning the crockpot is one of those chores I hate. I usually end up having the thing soaking in the sink for a couple of days... but these liners really work. There is no melting of the liner at all and it doesn't stick to the sides of crockery. These liners make slow cooking that much easier in the long run. I am not a chef by any means - I make very simple meals (like pot roast) in the slow cooker and have enough for my lunches for about a week. I have a 6.4 qt slow cooker and the liner was more than enough to use. There was plenty left over on the top which folded over to the sides. Again - no melting there, either. After I dispersed all the portions into freezable containers, I just grabbed the bag, tied a knot on top and threw it in the trash - and my crockpot is still clean! Love it! . Slow Cooker Liners are BPA-free and approved by the FDA for cooking." These liners fit my 6 quart oval Crock-Pot with room to spare. I have used them on high and low settings for long periods of time and have never had one fail. They hold up well to cooking, stirring and serving and are very easy to remove from the pot to clean up. There is usually some condensation outside the bag in the crockpot that I wipe down with a cloth but no other spills. These liners do create a tighter seal on crock-pots that already have a sealing mechanism. The liners are clear and can be used on large and small slow cookers by simply folding the material over the sides.
