Cast it out and bloop it along the surface like a swimming frog. Nice for evening and night fishing because single hook is weedless if you fish it on the surface. Easier hook removal from fish.

This is an over-looked alternative to frogs and metal weedless spoons. You can fish it over any kind of overhead cover, though it works less well than alternatives over pads. It shines on wild rice, which few others do. Add a couple of rattles on either side of the main hook "inside" the spoon. Epoxy works best.
