The 5/8 inch (1.59 cm) diameter Adjustable Spring Tension Curtain Rod is an ideal solution for windows in your kitchen, bedroom, dining room, or living room. Use it with light to medium weight curtains that suit your personal style. The spring tension rod adjusts from 28 inches to 48 inches (71.12 cm - 121.92 cm) to fit your window. Easy to install, the Mainstays Adjustable Spring Tension Curtain Rod mounts inside your windows casing, with no tools required. The non-slip, non-scratch rubber ends hold the rod in place while protecting the mounting surface from marks and scuffs. It is ideal for use in dorms, apartments, or any room where a simple solution is needed.
This drapery set contains one adjustable spring tension rod.
To install, extend the rod to a length 1/2” to 4” longer than the extension to be covered. Compress the rod to position in the opening, and release to secure. Use shorter extension for smaller openings and greater extension (up to 4” greater than the space to be covered) for longer openings.

good adjustable tension rod
i like the quality of this tension rod. It is harbour than the ones you generally find. I also like the fact that the end are not overly fancy. Those are nice where needed. But too many times I just need a good, simple one like this one. I will probably buy a couple more just to have on hand. Especially with this up and down weather.

Looked online and could really not find it anywhere else but Walmart-Other places may have had something that might work but they would be very heavy and not so easy to use- anything over 48” are nothing like this one and very pricey- I am going to order several more and have one for each holiday and spring/summer decorated-they are very easy to store-can also be used to hang clothes that you don't want to put in your dryer above your shower curtain rod and then taken down- these are great for so many different things- but love the fact that Walmart has practically everything that a person is looking for-

Theseccurtain rods stay up tho my curtains aren't too heavy (blackout). Unlike some of better quality, (not twist but adjust w a screw) you have to readjust every single time by twisting when you put them back up. Depends on what you need them for. Work for me! Bargain!
