not made the same very cheaply made so disappointed, and the highest setting on the fan is not very strong , i had bought this brand because they last my last lasko oscillating fan lasted me over 10 years I will be lucky if this fan lasts me all summer

2-inches really does matter!

I was looking to replace my old 18” Lasko pedestal fan that no longer circulated . The one I was looking at was almost $45. Then I saw their 16” for $26 and change. Thought how much different could it be?! WOW. Just wow. Even sitting in front of it I could barely feel it, let alone have it circulate air around whole room. And noisy! Sure, the 18” makes noise, it sounds like a fan. The 16” I received sounds like it’s getting ready to take off. Lesson learned, pay the extra money.
