Viair. Life's simple lessons.

Viair compressors are more expensive, but if you get stuck on the road with a soft tire or slow leak it will work. If your friend or relative calls and tell you they came out to go to work, the airport or bowling and their tire was flat, it will work. Nothing worse than standing out in the cold and lonely, plugging in your little plastic compressor and smelling something burning. What's that smell. Too late. Viair is not like the cheap one you get from the department store. Those are disposable throw aways. Keep one of those for a wheel chock. If you like being prepared, if you like plans or strategies in like then Viair will work when you need it.

Great for off road 4 wheeling

I purchased the Viair 400P portable compressor to air the tires on my Jeep Rubicon after airing down for off road 4 wheeling. Before getting back on pavement I stop and after a few short minutes I am able to air the tires back up to proper psi. It's quick and easy to hook the unit up to my battery. The built-in gauge lets me know when I've reached the desired psi. I did a lot of research, including talking to a friend who had one and the Viair is best out there. Cordless battery operated units are not a good as advertised. I've now used it several times for my 35 inch tires and it's great.
