Consider the height.

Pros: It is very sturdy, and the height can be adjusted somewhat. The assembly instructions were very clear. Cons: For me, it sits a little too low. A lot depends on how high your desk is, but even at the highest setting, this platform bumps up against my leg if I want to use it in front of me. And I'm short. I considered returning this, but decided to use it as a platform for other things off to the side.
