- Service Life & Use Conditions: When used with municipal tap water, this under-sink system is rated for up to 24 months of use (actual life varies by local water conditions). Designed for cold water only—not for well water or hot water. For travel, store filters in sealed bags in the refrigerator (not the freezer) for up to 30 days.
- Multi-Stage Filtration Performance: Uses multi-stage filtration designed to help reduce PFAS (including PFOA/PFOS), lead, chlorine, certain heavy metals, chemical impurities, sediment, and larger particles, supporting cleaner-tasting water from the tap.
- Certifications & Materials: Made with BPA-free and lead-free materials. IAPMO certified to NSF/ANSI 372 (lead-free materials) and NSF/ANSI 42 (chlorine, taste, and odor reduction), and third-party tested to NSF/ANSI 53 for lead reduction. Certification details can be checked by searching “WD-15UA” on the IAPMO website.
- Easy Installation & Anti-Clog Design: Installs on a cold-water line using push-to-connect fittings in about 3 minutes, and the filter can be changed in about 3 seconds. Includes a 3/8" hose for standard under-sink feed valves plus a 3/8"–1/2" converter for common cold-water lines/faucets. An upgraded filtration area is described as providing about 20× more dirt-adhesion area to help reduce clogging risk.
- Flow Rate, Uses & Notes: Tested flow rate is 0.75 GPM at 60 psi, and an upgraded 3/8" outlet is described as supporting flow up to 1.33 GPM (actual flow depends on water pressure and conditions). Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, RVs, and offices for drinking, cooking, cleaning, and more. TDS may not decrease because beneficial minerals (e.g., calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium) can remain in the water.
