Coolibar Beach Shawl - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Sanibel in Black

Comfy extra layer for sun protection and/or warmth (on the plane, as advertised, or outside). I used it as a leg cover in the sun for two people; airplane blanket; shoulder cover/shawl; scarf at night. Material is soft and stretchy. I got it in grey so it might "pass" as something a little more neutral and sophisticated. I don't think I'm fooling anyone: it's a relatively sporty cotton-synthetic; don't plan to use it for a formal occasion (e. g. , wedding in the sun) unless perhaps the color matches your outfit. Overall, a great flexible bonus layer on my recent trips!

This beach shawl is lightweight and has a soothing silky feel. It is big enough to cover my legs when sitting in the sun, and light enough to use as a scarf or shawl in an air conditioned room. It washed and dried in cold water and dried using low temperature, did not need ironing. The Misty Aqua color is pretty pastel color that makes me feel cool. I expect I will be able to use it frequently this summer.
