The phone is amazing. Under the student offer, I got it for a very good discount. It is a good upgrade especially if you are using an older model like the Galaxy S10 or lower. I have always been a loyal Samsung customer from my first phone to my first wearable and they always exceed my expectations.

Google pixels are not good this generation. PIxel 5a screen died after a couple months and pixel 6 has way too many bugs. If you aren't into apple and there ecosystem this is the only way to go for flagship phones. I was happy with the trade in value of my s21. I have had good experience with buying and customer support. You actually have someone pickup right away, which is saying something nowadays. The phone is noticeably heavier coming from s21 and feels like a sturdy brick. I will say that the s10 was one of my favorite phones. Light phone, high res screen with a small curve. It really looked high end. Flat screens are easy though which s22 has. The plus version does not feel to big coming from regular s21. This is the first time I've gone with a bigger phone. I will say there is a place for the small feel of the normal s22 but I was ready to try out a larger phone. I'm still able to use it one handed which is nice. I don't feel the need for sd card slot which at this point is a thing of the past. Be carefull with tempered glass screen protectors. The under screen fingerprint sensor will have trouble working. You can always just use face id which works fine. flagship iphones do not even have fingerprint and rely solely on faceid. Most film screen protectors work great. I use a zag and it recognizes my fingerprint right away.
