Fresh Sliced Mushrooms, 16 oz

I absolutely LOVE mushrooms, and I will use them in hot and cold dishes frequently, but sometimes I'm just feeling too lazy to slice them up, so when I was feeling that way this past week, I decided to go the convenient route and purchased my fresh mushrooms sliced. These were really nice; thick slices, clean and firm. I added them into several salads that I made, but I also included them in my vegetable snack plate along with the other goodies that go well with dip because they were very large and a good, thick cut to stand up to the dips. For the price and convenience, it's really a no brainer. And, because these are already sliced, if they go on sale, you have the option of taking them out of their original package to freeze them raw or cook them up and have them ready to add to soups, gravies or entree when that extra depth of flavor will really elevate your meal.

Bought 3 days ago. They turned back and smelled horrible! I don't know what's going on with WM produce, but I've thrown away 85% of everything I gotten in the last month or so. With prices being what they are, we can't afford to throw away food.
