The 1/2" keyless chuck allows for quick bit changes, and a LED light illuminates and brightens dark work areas. Also, the 20V Max Lithium-Ion batteries with 1. 3 amp/hour cells deliver more power and runtime in a smaller package. Common applications include Metal Drilling, Wood Drilling, and Fastening.

Outstanding product

3 years ago I bought this product in a kit, it also had a 1/4" impact. I love both of them they have out done any expectations I had. Even the batteries have been great. they outlasted a DeWalt I bought about the same time.

Best Tools by far!

Over the past 40 years, I have had several drill drivers, and none has worked as well as this one has. I have actually recently purchased another one so I can drill and drive without changing bits. And I've never had one of the batteries die while using these. The batteries are as tough and powerful as they get. 30 some years ago, I seen Norm Abram tour the Tennessee facility where Porter Cable tools were made. I was so impressed, at that time I knew that Porter Cable would be tools I could count on for years. At this time I own all of the 20V Max tools with the exception of the sanders, angle grinder, and the oscillating tool. I hope to have these by year end so I can build a charge station holding all of these.
