I've been using these baits for only a few months but every time I've found speckled trout they can't resist these things. I use mostly the Coastal Candy color but others work too. The only slight negative is that after catching 20-30 fish they start to come apart but that's still better than most for sure.

I am a guide and these rattle shrimp are almost as good as live shrimp ..The fish eat them so deep that I have to get pliers to remove almost every fish And make sure to use pliers so you don't tear up the bait ....Grab the hook in the bend and you can catch plenty of fish per lure . This is THE GO TO Bait at Pointe Aux Chenes

I have fished many times now with 2 of the locals and they swear by the Berkley Rattle Shrimp Coastal Candy... And the proof is in the ice chest. We catch limits of trout daily using mainly the RS on a popping cork and it gets the best results by far. I've tried Vudu Shrimp with lesser results and I find the Coastal Candy can even out perform live shrimp on almost every occasion... And the fact that it's become hard to find in stock in our local fishing stores is a testament to its performance value!!!
