Excellent upgrade and value

I was surprised to find that this processor was being offered by Walmart. Walmart's price was less than the big "A" so I ordered from WM. Shipping wasn't quite as fast as A but close enough to keep me happy. The processor itself went into an older HP 500-281 (check your motherboard socket to be certain before ordering). The switch was quick and easy.. I wish Intel would provide a small amount of thermal grease but they don't so you will have to buy that. The performance difference is quite evident and makes me smile.

CPU

Impressed with the Intel i5 series CPU. The performance is not much difference than the i7. The i7 have more technical features if you're really into computing or gaming. Desired a decent CPU with four (4) full cores; well, this i5 get the job done. It is full featured minus hyperthreading technology which can handle today's computing and gaming. The i5-4590 is a great CPU. Intel made a strong come back with this CPU.
