Blah! Vanilla white with a few rainbow sprinkles
A rug is a rug, right? An item that most hope will be soft and plushy, gives a spring to their step, and is good looking. This Safavieh Nantucket rug is all the above. BUT (a really big but), I can only recommend this rug with deep reservations. Why? Because the rug I received looks nothing like its listing photo. And beyond that, while it has closer resemblance to reviewers' online photos, it's not a good match to any of those either. From what I had seen, I was expecting a multitude of pink/red tones in this carpet. But in fact, what I received contains as much green… and also a lot of blue, yellow, and orange… But the biggest disappointment? The rug is at least 70% white fibers. So, bottom line? I didn't expect to receive an almost white rug. I wanted a color-saturated, melange of a rug. That wasn't what was delivered.

While I love the brand, colors and design, the rug is starting to unravel after only two and a half months. Also, the depth of the rug was too tall and my bathroom door would not close over it.
