It was going to be difficult to test how weatherproof or waterproof these pants are seeing as it hardly ever rains down here so I dressed up and stood in the shower for 5 minutes. I bought a matching top from the same company. not a drop of water came through any of the seams or fastenings. I was all over perfectly dry. My new hiking shoes were the only casualty. Guess what I'm buying now.
