I purchased a few of these and larger ones and they did an excellent job while moving. I will now keep them for emergency power outages. I lost no fish in my move to another state. Some people have complained about the noise. The noise actually helped me to know if the batteries needed to be replace and also to check on my fish.

Good for aerating small tanks using battery power

I have used two of these for a couple of weeks now to aerate outdoor 20 gallon tanks that are growing duckweed. They last about 12-18 hours on two AA batteries. For an application where you may not have available power to use rechargeable pumps, or to use corded pumps these are great. They go through a lot of batteries if you want to run them continuously like I do.

Inexpensive, Reliable, Easy to Transport

Small, portable, and can live in the car until needed even through our hot AZ summers! It will run on one or two AA batteries, the difference being how long it will run. I use them in my odor removal business, and had labels made for them so customers can scan a QR code for directions. The stickers are easy to peel off, and inexpensive to have made. If you have a business that uses a small air pump, this is absolutely the right one. These are inexpensive and relatively reliable. I am a big fan!
