Sterling Sports 6-Player Croquet Set

Nothing like the sets for the 50-60s but still worth the money for some summer fun. The mallets and balls materials seem fine but the mfg. process marginal. Quality control checks could be better--- one ball has a flat spot on it, one mallet had the wooden threads chewed up. The wickets are light weight wire that come folded-up. I might replace them with #16 solid electrical wire. The paint stripes are Not clean/crisp and the mallets will not fit in the bag when assembled (as others have stated).

The storage bag is not long enough to put the mallets inside after the heads are attached to the handles, and if you take them apart after each use they will get too loose to stay on for play after just a few games. Plan on some other storage method.
