My dietician stated that I had to in decrease sodium (salt) intake. The amount I use to put on food was doing harm to my physical help. I did a web search %26 discovered No Salt. Though I still need to still need to monitor the amount I put on various snacks %26 meals, No Salt is more healthy than regular salt.

Put this in grampa's salt shaker if you like him

Sodium salt is poison to me and tastes salty sweet. Potassium salt (this) is fine and tastes salty bitter. I haven't noticed the bitter for decades. One to one substitution in all recipes and at the table. Was an action and study in China that showed that lite salt (half this, half table) salt noticeably reduced cardiovascular deaths. Users of this sodium free salt are very unlikely to suffer a sodium deficiency.

The least expensive way to up your potassium level

I don't use this on food. I use it to increase my potassium intake so I don't get leg cramps. For some reason, potassium supplements are limited by law to only 2% of your daily requirement. So you would need to take 50 of them to get a day's supply. On the other hand, a gelatin capsule of this stuff gives you 15% of your daily requirement at a fraction of the cost. I fill capsules myself, and take one in the morning and one at night, and a third on occasion if my legs get twitchy. It also seems to help with my heart rhythm. I don't know why more people don't know about this. Low potassium is common.
