they are easy to put together. what's not easy is trying to figure out which direction the black plastic connectors go. i had to pull them off several times until i had the directing right. that is VERY IMPORTANT that they go on the correct direction, in accordance with what you are building. the bottom connectors need to lay flat on the floor.
